BULLETIN NOTICES — For Week of August 3rd, 2008

WELCOME ALL VISITORS We are pleased you have joined us today. Please sign our guest book and make yourself known to our Rector. If you are traveling, we pray that you will have safe travel back home. PLEASE WEAR YOUR NAME TAG – It’s the caring thing to do!! If you don’t have one and would like to, see Carol Zager (organist). There is no charge for your first one.

SUNDAY MORNINGS – JERUSALEM: We continue with our virtual walk around Jerusalem. For the remainder of the summer, we will be using electronics to visit various sites in the Holy Land.

TODAY – POT LUCK LUNCH & YOUTH PRESENTATION: The Youth Group will make a presentation about their recent mission trip. Everyone is invited to join in the fellowship, food, and listen to the youth group’s summer fun.

SATURDAY – HEALTHY COOKING: Janet Tayler continues her Healthy Eating & Cooking Class this Saturday beginning at 9:30am. Everyone is invited.

SATURDAY – SUPPORT FOR THE FAMILY CONFERENCE: This Saturday beginning at 1:00 pm, we will be hosting a Family Conference. For specifics, please see here.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – GRACE HOUSE: Grace House Ministries in Weatherford is in need of volunteers. As a Christian pregnancy counseling facility many individuals have been assisted, and Saint Francis has supported this ministry since it began. If you might be interested or if you would like more information about volunteering, please call 817-599-4700.

PRAYERS – AS YOU TRAVEL: During the summer, many are traveling and this is the perfect time to remember each other in prayer. Take the bulletin with you as you travel this summer and remember those in the parish who have asked for prayer. Enjoy and be safe.

SUMMER MONTHS – GIVING/PLEDGING: The Vestry wants to thank those who have continued to make their regular contributions to the parish. Our cash flow during this summer has been good, please keep up the good work.

THE FLOWERS AT THE ALTAR TODAY ARE GIVEN TO THE GLORY OF GOD in thanksgiving for a special friend, Carol Zager by Kailey Riley.
